Choice $2600 New December 15! Steely Reflective Luster, Old Time Lustrous Eye Appeal, New Jersey Collection. We are pleased to be offering the New Jersey Collection47s PCGS old green holder encapsulated Seated dollars for your consideration and opening with this 1841 OC-4 . Sharp steely fields are readily evident under a bright light with minimal abrasions. The luster is most reflective and pleasing with ample cartwheels. Light milky toning is noted in the right obverse field and extending to the date region. Given the coin47s mirrored like surfaces, GFRC photography struggles with plastic holder reflections on the lower obverse and reverse. This dollar is many times better in hand rather than the images. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder and an important opportunity for those that enjoy originality in an early TPG holder.

New December 15! Triple Obverse Rim Cuds, Steely Reflective Luster, Lightly Hairlined, Net Graded, New Jersey Collection. Steely surfaces with reflective luster reveal well struck design elements, with clear star points and well-defined claw joints. Light copper-gray patina lightly decorates fields on both sides with GFRC images being darker than the coin in hand. OC-7, with three fully formed rim cuds, and extended lines in the reverse shield. Cuds are not uncommon for this issue and also occur on OC-4 pieces. Die preparation was not an exact science in this era, and anomalies abound, which is part of the charm of the Liberty Seated series. Faint hairlines in the fields are noted with the certified grade being a case of net grading for this challenging series in fully choice condition. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.0 (1990-1993) old green holder.

New December 15! Low Mintage Date, Steely Luster, Field Chatter, New Jersey Collection. The 1844 Seated dollar is a desirable date, not only because of its relatively low mintage of 20,000, but also because of its interesting obverse die, which is doubled and displays a misplaced 18 in the gown. Full variety details can be found at www.seateddollarvarieties.com per Osburn and Brian Cushing. The New Jersey Collection release offers steely fields and the associated luster under a bright light. Chatter in the right obverse field is noted. The dark spot on the left facing arm is dirt that has adhered to the surface without causing any porosity behind. A classic survivor in an early generation holder. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.0 (1990-1993) old green holder. Promptly sold once placed on the 30 Day Price List.

Market Acceptable $1750 New December 15! Low Mintage Date, Steely Fields, Light Gray, Hairlines, New Jersey Collection. A second circulation strike 1844 Seated dollar from a single die that features prominent doubling within the obverse shield. This example has muted steely fields due to a long ago wipe. The toning is secondary with mostly violet shades along with embedded gold, rose and blues that can be detected under a bright light. The overall presentation is still notable as compared to the host of washed out dollars seen in TPG holders. At GFRC, we are strict technical graders towards ensuring that clients understand the coins being bought. The offer price is attractive for a low mintage 1844 half. This piece will definitely sell at the upcoming 2026 Winter FUN show. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder.

Original $1250 New December 15! Steely Reflectance, Gray and Gold Toning, Pleasing Eye Appeal, New Jersey Collection. The 1846 Seated dollar date sports a mintage of 110,600 and falls into the "common" category though nicer examples are still challenging to locate. This example presents the expected steely fields that offer partial mirrors under a bright light. Surfaces are essentially unabraded and quite pleasing during 10x inspection. Orange-gold toning covers the obverse while the reverse is layered with brown and blues shades. Grading is fully accurate. OC-1, in an early die state with no traces of a reverse die crack at STATES. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder.

Original $18250 New December 15! Rare Date, Steely Luster and Premium Eye Appeal, Faint 10x Hairlines, New Jersey Collection. GFRC is pleased to be handling the New Jersey Collection47s 1854 Seated dollar as a rare opportunity to acquire a Mint State example with faint hairlines in the fields. The fields are naturally steely with mint frost surrounding the stars and legend. Light orange gold patination is deeper at the borders. PCGS choose to assign a Genuine opinion given the date47s rarity and financial risk with a larger buyback sum. In hand, this piece presents AU58/MS61 eye appeal with the expected bright light luster. Frankly, the 1854 and 1843 dollars are the strongest pieces in the New Jersey offerings in terms of old time eye appeal. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
